Chef/Owner Lea Forant cooks what is fresh, flavorful and appropriate to the season, and hand selects the produce, seafood and meats that fill the refrigerated cases in her shop. She features a wide variety of foods to please many palates, and she takes infinite care with the preparation of each dish. Many of the diners at Café Forant comment that, after eating a meal prepared by Lea Forant, they feel that "someone in the kitchen actually cares about me".
